Go ahead. Make someone’s day! Did you ever find yourself thinking that you should tell someone what a great job they did on their solo, or teaching a class, or preparing a meal? Have you missed seeing someone on Sunday morning and wanted to tell them that? Now, you can make someone’s day by sending a note of encouragement before you even leave church.
You will find note cards and envelopes in the pew-chair in front of you. Simply write your note and place the card in the envelope, seal it and write the person’s name on the front. The cards may be placed in the offering plate or left in Tina’s office. Each card will be addressed and sent on Monday morning. Let’s encourage each other. Make someone’s day!
January 11th A Festival of Church Choirs at Kirkland Fine Arts Center. Ten churches forming seven choirs will provide a benefit performance at 4:00 p.m. This is a benefit for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Illinois.
Annual Business meeting will be January 28th at 6:00 p.m. Annual Reports will be handed out at this time.
The Deaconess Mission for January is Salvation Army They are in need of: non-perishable food, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, socks, and sheet sets. Please place your donations in the blue container in the Church coat room. Thank you for your donation, The Board of Deaconesses.
