Pastor Steve’s sermon series on “Cultivating Fruit” have been honestly challenging and encouraging for us as we begin 2010. Make sure you are around Sunday morning as we continue to study and learn from God’s Word.
The Big Brothers/Big Sisters Choir Festival at Kirkland last month was a great success. Thanks to all our faithful choir members who joined the nearly 300 singers in the Mass Choir. We had a great time singing with Central Christian’s choir and enjoyed our time of rehearsal and fellowship with them.
I’m really proud of our RPM troupe: their skit for the offertory on the 24th was skillfully executed. Watch for the H2O Kids as well: they’ll be singing later this month
Can you believe it? This summer will be our 20th MUSICAMP for First Baptist Church. Our theme for 2010 is “The Beat Goes On” and the Worship Ministries Board is working toward a great week of fun, learning and new experiences. God has blessed us over the last two decades and we are so grateful for the opportunity to continue to serve in this capacity.
