What is going to happen to this church? Who will be our new pastor? What will the future look like for First Baptist Church?
These, beloved congregation, are all valid questions, especially as we work through Pastor Steve and Judi’s calling to another congregation. This is the time that we simply trust in God’s infinite plan for us. Our task is to move ahead with strong assurance that God continues to lead us and that He has significant ministry yet to accomplish through this congregation. As Jesus said; “seek first the kingdom of God…” If we do that, He will faithfully direct us in the path He has laid out before us.
As we move through these next weeks, let us be people of gratitude. Be certain to express your appreciation to Pastor Steve and Judi for our time together. Ask God to bless them as they move into a new challenge. Pray that God continues to use each of us as we work to make His kingdom our “top priority.” May He be with us each step of the way!

Loving Heavenly Father, You always know what is best for us. Help us to continually trust You for all things and in the name of our Savior Jesus, may Your will be done – both in our lives and in Your church. We ask this in His name, amen.
