Sunday School and Life groups

  • nursery

    0-18 months

    Loving infant child care is provided in our nursery  located in Room 14 off the east hallway. There is also a Cry Room located on the west side of the Sanctuary where families can still be part of worship while caring for the needs of their child.

  • toddlers

    18 months - 4 years

    Bible stories, activities and learning about Jesus happens in Room 15 off the east hallway.


    Grades k-2

    The love of God is shared with children through stories, crafts, and other educational experiences. Their classroom is Room 19 on the southwest corner of the Fellowship Hall. Their classroom materials are the beginning and foundation of our Sunday School curriculum. There are crafts and take-home papers each week.


    grades 3-5

    The older elementary students  memorize Scriptures, learn the truths of Scripture and use our graded curriculum. They meet each Sunday in Room 12 on the east side of the Fellowship Hall.

  • Middle school

    grades 6-8

    We continues building  strong Bible knowledge with our young people in their use of the curriculum. They meet in Room 11A on the east side of the Fellowship Hall. This group also participates in the weekly youth ministry meetings on Sunday evenings.

  • high school

    grades 9-12

    The high school group meets in Room 13 on the southwest corner of the Fellowship Hall. They use curriculum material as well and are the core of the  Sunday evenings youth group,  The Block. 

  • College and Career

    post college

    Post high school students and young adults meet in Room 9 located on the north east hallway.  Looking for new friends as a young adult, check out this great group.

  • Bibles and FRIENDS with starbucks


    This group meets in Room 21 down the west hallway.  They study from the Journeys curriculum.  Bibles & Friends also holds the monthly worship service at Primrose Retirement Community on the third Sunday of each month. Fresh Starbucks coffee, delightful snacks and new friends are found in the room each Sunday.

  • joy adults

    The Joy  Life Group does independent Bible studies. They meet in the Fellowship Hall with coffee and snacks.  Join them for  Bible Study.

  • SURVIVORS adults

    Survivors meet in Room 8 which is off the  north east hall. This group uses curriculum materials.  Members of this class can often be found in the kitchen serving the church family at business meetings and other special occasions.

  • ida Seniors

    In Deo Auxilio means "By the Help of God".  IDA currently use curriculum materials. They meet in Room 20 on the west side of the Fellowship Hall.  You will enjoy the homemade treats each week  along with some great Bible discussion and fellowship.  

  • Journey

    A Ministry for widows

    A Ministry of First Baptist Church to share hope and healing with widows along the continuum of their journey.  Throughout the Bible, believers are called on to care for widows.  Journey is a place of fellowship, networking and support for widows.  Widows helping widows. 

    Journey is not a grief group.  While grief is a part of the journey, in the Journey ministry, we are focusing on healing, support and finding joy and hope. 

    This group meets the forth Saturday of each month in the Fellowship Hall at FBC at 10:30 am.  Meeting is an hour then share some lunch.  Please R.S.V.P. to church office  875.8034.
